"When you go through deep waters and great trouble, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown! When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up-the flames will not consume you. For I am the Lord your God, your Savior, the Holy One of Israel." (Isa 43:1-3 TLB) For certain, at some point in our lives, we have all displeased and disappointed God. Although, He would be well within His rights to cast us away or simply destroy us, instead, He remembers His commitment to us. How assuring it is to know that when we face adversity and challenges of all types, God has predetermined our outcome. We will be alright!
PRAYER: Lord, thank you for being on our side and by our side. No matter what challenges we may face in our future, thank you for a predetermined outcome. Amen!
Ps 103:8-12. . . .He is merciful and tender toward those who don't deserve it; he is slow to get angry and full of kindness and love. He never bears a grudge, nor remains angry forever. He has not punished us as we deserve for all our sins, for his mercy toward those who fear and honor him is as great as the height of the heavens above the earth. TLB
