BE WHO YOU ARE!

                                         3-31-2015. . . .BE WHO YOU ARE!

"And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread." (Matt 4:3 KJV)  Although, the enemy tempts us to do things out of character to prove who we are, like Jesus, we never deviate from God's which is expressed will.  We never have to prove to the enemy or anyone else who we are, we simply be who we are!

Prayer: Lord, thank you that through your Son Jesus, you have made us your children.  We have nothing to prove to the enemy.  Amen!

1 John 3:1-2. . . . See how very much our heavenly Father loves us, for he allows us to be called his children-think of it-and we really are! But since most people don't know God, naturally they don't understand that we are his children. TLB

LETS GET BUSY!

3-27-2015. . . .GET BUSY!

“But if we confess our sins to him, he can be depended on to forgive us and to cleanse us from every wrong. [And it is perfectly proper for God to do this for us because Christ died to wash away our sins.]” (1 John 1:9 TLB)  If asked the question, "Can we be depended upon to forgive," what would the answer be?   If that answer does not mirror what the word says about God, we've got work to do! Lets Get Busy!

Prayer: Lord, you are so faithful in every way! Praise your name forever. May the testimony of me be the same. Amen!

Ps 86:4-5. . . . O Lord, you are so good and kind, so ready to forgive, so full of mercy for all who ask your aid. TLB

TIME AND TIME AGAIN!

3-26-2015. . . .TIME AND TIME AGAIN!

“Unless the LORD had been my help, my soul had almost dwelt in silence. When I said, My foot slippeth; thy mercy, O LORD, held me up.” (Ps 94:17-18 KJV) Death certainly would have been our dwelling place if God had not helped us! Time and time again He has come through for us. Even when we did not deserve it, His mercy sustained us. Can I say it again. . . . . Time and Time again!

Prayer: Lord, there has never been a time you have not helped me. Where would I be without You? Thank You for always helping me. Amen.

Ps 109:26-28 . . . . Help me, O Lord my God! Save me because you are loving and kind.  Do it publicly, so all will see that you yourself have done it. TLB

REWARDED APPROPRIATELY!

3-25-2015. . . .REWARDED APPROPRIATELY!

“May the LORD repay you for what you have done. May you be richly rewarded by the LORD, the God of Israel, under whose wings you have come to take refuge." (Ruth 2:12 NIV) Our commitment and good deeds done without fanfare, hardly go unnoticed! God always sees and will ensure that special appointed people also see, take note, and reward you appropriately!

Prayer: Lord, thank you that our good deeds never go unnoticed by you. Thank you also for using special people appointed by you to bless us. Amen!
Heb 6:9-10. . . . God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them. NIV

ONE NAME!

3-22-2015. . . .ONE NAME!

"For Jesus the Messiah is (the one referred to in the Scriptures when they speak of ) a 'stone discarded by the builders which became the capstone of the arch.'   There is salvation in no one else! Under all heaven there is no other name for men to call upon to save them."  (Acts 4:11-12 TLB)  The call for salvation will never go unanswered.  There is no possibility of the line being busy, a missed call, a dropped call, or even a wrong call, because there is only one place to call.  One name above every name, and one name with the power to save.  J E S U S!

PRAYER: Lord, thank you for salvation through your Son, Jesus the Christ!  All praise, glory and honor be to His wonderful name!  Amen.

Prov 18:10. . . . The name of the LORD is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe. NIV

DEFER AND SUCCEED!

3-15-2015. . . .DEFER AND SUCCEED!

"I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me."  (Phil 4:13 KJV) What we may lack in our own ability and power, we can fully accomplish through Christ and His enabling power in us.  Simply defer to Him and succeed.

PRAYER:  Lord, thank you for your enabling power!  There is nothing we cannot accomplish for the kingdom when we defer to you.  Amen.

Eph 1:19-21. . . . I pray that you will begin to understand how incredibly great his power is to help those who believe him. It is that same mighty power  that raised Christ from the dead and seated him in the place of honor at God's right hand in heaven, far, far above any other king or ruler or dictator or leader.  TLB

BELIEVER'S PRIORITY!

3-18-2015. . . .BELIEVER'S PRIORITY!

"So don't worry at all about having enough food and clothing. Why be like the heathen?  For they take pride in all these things and are deeply concerned about them.   But your heavenly Father already knows perfectly well that you need them, and he will give them to you if you give him first place in your life and live as he wants you to.  (Matt 6:31-33 TLB)   The law of priority says first things must be first and the main thing must remain the main thing!  Pursuit of the kingdom and the kingdom way is always a believer's priority and key to kingdom prosperity.

PRAYER: Lord, thank you for the key and plan for obtaining kingdom prosperity.  Help us to keep the main thing the main thing in our lives.  Amen!

Phil 4:19. . . .But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.  KJV

THINK RIGHT DO RIGHT!

3-17-2015. . . .THINK RIGHT DO RIGHT!

"Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. (Phil 4:8 KJV)  Every action is initiated by a thought!  The purer, truer, lovelier the thought, so shall the resulting actions be.  Think right, do right, be right!

PRAYER: Lord, purify our minds that our thoughts and actions will be pleasing to you and all mankind.  Amen!

Prov 16:1-3. . . .The preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, is from the LORD.  All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; but the LORD weigheth the spirits.  Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.  KJV

MOVE AHEAD OF THE STORM!

3-10-2015. . . .MOVE AHEAD OF THE STORM!

"Finally, the seventh time, his servant told him, "I saw a little cloud about the size of a man's hand rising from the sea."  Then Elijah shouted, "Hurry to Ahab and tell him to get into his chariot and get down the mountain, or he'll be stopped by the rain!"  And sure enough, the sky was soon black with clouds, and a heavy wind brought a terrific rainstorm. Ahab left hastily for Jezreel, and the Lord gave special strength to Elijah so that he was able to run ahead of Ahab's chariot to the entrance of the city! (1 Kings 18:44-46 TLB)  What starts out small could develop into a raging storm.  Don't get caught gazing at the clouds.  Be proactive and move ahead of the storm!

Prayer: Lord, thank you for insight and foresight.  Help us to always be prepared and in position before the storms of life come.  Amen!

Ps 55:8. . . . I would hurry to my place of shelter, far from the tempest and storm."  NIV

ASK, SEEK AND KNOCK!

3-5-2015. . . .ASK, SEEK AND KNOCK!

"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.  For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.  "Which of you, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone?  Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake?  If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him! (Matt 7:7-12 NIV)  God is not in the business of playing hide and seek!  There are things He want us to have, things He wants us to know and places that are ordained for us to go.  We need only ask, seek and knock!  If we do our part, God will do His!

Prayer:  Lord, thank you for giving us full kingdom access.  We have only to ask, seek and knock in order to receive, know and enter.  In Jesus name, we will!  Amen.

Luke 12:32. . . . Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.  KJV

I AM ALL YOU NEED!

3-4-2015. . .  .I AM ALL YOU NEED!

"Each time he said, "No. But I am with you; that is all you need. My power shows up best in weak people." Now I am glad to boast about how weak I am; I am glad to be a living demonstration of Christ's power, instead of showing off my own power and abilities." (2 Cor 12:9-10 TLB)  When God tells us no, it is not simply a demonstration or exercise of divine prerogative. (Although if He so chose, He would be well within His rights to do so)  More often than not however, His greater purpose is to illuminate our greater need!  We think we know what we need, but God really knows what we need and is well able to supply that need.  His answer to us today is the same as His answer was to the Apostle Paul; "I AM ALL YOU NEED!"

PRAYER: Lord, you are our El Shaddai; our sufficiency!  You are all we need and more than we deserve.  All praise, honor and glory be yours forever and ever.  Amen!

Phil 4:18-20. . . .You can be sure that God will take care of everything you need, his generosity exceeding even yours in the glory that pours from Jesus.

SOUNDS FROM HEAVEN!

3-3-2015. . . .SOUNDS FROM HEAVEN!

"For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:   Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.   Wherefore comfort one another with these words."  (1 Thess 4:16-18 KJV)  Pay no attention to impostors purporting themselves to be Jesus Christ returned in the flesh. These impostors will increase as the true coming of the Lord draws closer.  His coming will be unmistakable and marked by three distinct sounds: A Shout - A Voice of the archangel - The Trump of God!  Saints both dead and alive will hear these sounds and respond accordingly.  In the meantime, the voices of impostors are mute to us as we listen and await the sounds from heaven.

PRAYER: Lord, thank you that our times are in your hands!  No man knows the day or the hour of your return.  Help us to be attentive and on alert for the sounds from heaven.  Amen!

Matt 25:13. . . .Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh. KJV

GOOD AND FAITHFUL

3-2-2015. . . .GOOD AND FAITHFUL!

"His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord."  (Matt 25:23 KJV)  Are we faithful?  The 'FAITHFUL" will always be "FAITHFUL" because they are "FAITH-FULL!"  In the face of any circumstance or situation, they never stop believing; they never stop praying; they never stop loving; they never stop giving; they never stop waiting and they never stop working!  Are we FAITHFUL; GOOD and FAITHFUL?  Our reward is contingent upon us being so!

PRAYER: Father, we thank you for being our Faithful God!  There is no shadow of turning with you.  Help us to be as you are!  Amen.

2 Cor 5:9-10. . . . For we must all stand before Christ to be judged and have our lives laid bare-before him. Each of us will receive whatever he deserves for the good or bad things he has done in his earthly body. TLB
