GOD'S WILL AND GOD'S PLAN!

9-30-2015. . . .GOD'S WILL AND GOD'S PLAN!

"And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat:  But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren."  (Luke 22:31-32 KJV)  Both God and Satan have a plan for our life.  God's plan is for good and not evil.  Conversely, Satan's plan is only evil; to kill, steal and destroy.  The only possible way Satan's plan has any chance of succeeding is through our choices.  Choose God's will and follow God's plan remembering that, Satan is a liar and a deceiver too.

PRAYER: Lord, thank you for your plan for our life.  Your will and your way is what's best for us. Thank you Jesus for being a constant advocate for us in spite of Satan's daily accusations against us. Amen.

Jer 29:11-12. . . .
For I know the plans I have for you," says the Lord. "They are plans for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

FORGIVE!

9-29-2015. . . .FORGIVE!

"A further reason for forgiveness is to keep from being outsmarted by Satan, for we know what he is trying to do." (2 Cor 2:11 TLB)  Satan seeks to gain an advantage over us in any way he can. Don't allow an unwillingness to forgive to be his doorway in.  Sow into your own future; forgive now and be forgiven later.

PRAYER: Lord, help us and teach us to be more loving and forgiving.  As you have forgiven us, let us in turn quickly forgive others.  Amen!

Matt 6:14-15. . . . "In prayer there is a connection between what God does and what you do. You can't get forgiveness from God, for instance, without also forgiving others.  If you refuse to do your part, you cut yourself off from God's part.

VICTORY!

9-25-2015. . . .VICTORY

"but despite all this, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ who loved us enough to die for us. (Rom 8:37 TLB)  In life we will face a multiplicity of challenging circumstances and situations.  Some are brought about as a result of our choices, and others just because.  Despite it all however, because of Christ, we are assured and reassured that we have overwhelming victory in it!  Don't be distracted by what it may look like now, stay focused on what it will be.  VICTORY!

PRAYER: Lord, thank you for victory in every circumstance and in every situation.  No matter what it looks like, we know that in the end, victory shall be ours because of you.  Amen.

2 Cor 2:14. . . . Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place. KJV

NO LACK!

9-24-2015. . . .NO LACK!

"Be delighted with the Lord. Then he will give you all your heart's desires.  Commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust him to help you do it, and he will." (Ps 37:4-6 TLB)  Being properly aligned with the Lord positions us to receive anything and everything in accordance with His will.  We shall not and will not lack any good thing.

PRAYER: Lord, help us to stay always in alignment with you.  Fill our heart's desire with the goodness and fruit of your will.   Amen.

Ps 34:10. . . . Even strong young lions sometimes go hungry, but those of us who reverence the Lord will never lack any good thing. TLB

THE WORD IS THE WORD!

9-23-2015. . . .THE WORD IS THE WORD!

"You shall not add to the word which I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you." (Deut 4:2-3 NKJV) The word is the word!  We cannot change or adjust it to fit our own personal agendas; nor can we tailor it to justify and under-gird our selfish beliefs and doctrines.  Again, the word is the word!  Receive  it - believe it - follow it!

PRAYER: Lord, thank you for your word.  It is what it is!  We receive it, we believe it, and with all our power we will follow it.  Amen!

Ps 33:4-5. . . . For the word of the LORD is right, And all His work is done in truth.  He loves righteousness and justice; The earth is full of the goodness of the LORD. NKJV

PRESENT AND PERSISTENT!

9-22-2015. . . .PRESENT AND PERSISTENT!

"For the Lord watches over all the plans and paths of godly men, but the paths of the godless lead to doom." (Ps 1:6 TLB)  Daily the Lord scrutinizes the plans and paths of His own to ensure their successful completion.  No detail is left to chance.  His guiding hand is ever present and persistent to prevent deviation from His desired path.

PRAYER: Lord, thank you!  When we would go astray, the presence of your guiding and persistent hand is there to prevent our deviation.  Thank you again.  Amen!

Ps 139:7-10. . . .I can never be lost to your Spirit! I can never get away from my God!  If I go up to heaven, you are there; if I go down to the place of the dead, you are there.  If I ride the morning winds to the farthest oceans, even there your hand will guide me, your strength will support me. GOD'S HAND!

9-17-15. . . .GOD'S HAND!

"This Ezra went up from Babylon; and he was a ready scribe in the law of Moses, which the LORD God of Israel had given: and the king granted him all his request, according to the hand of the LORD his God upon him." (Ezra 7:6 KJV)  God's hand upon us is God's favor upon us!  Expect doors to be opened - ways to be made - and request granted by those in charge.  God's hand is upon us for good!  Expect the unexpected and believe that the impossible is possible!

PRAYER: Lord, let your hand forever be upon us for good. Amen!

Ezra 7:6. . . .As a Jewish religious leader, Ezra was well versed in Jehovah's laws, which Moses had given to the people of Israel. He asked to be allowed to return to Jerusalem, and the king granted his request; for the Lord his God was blessing him. TLB

COMPLETE CONFIDENCE!

9-16-2015. . . .COMPLETE CONFIDENCE!

"But Abraham never doubted. He believed God, for his faith and trust grew ever stronger, and he praised God for this blessing even before it happened.  He was completely sure that God was well able to do anything he promised." (Rom 4:20-22 TLB)   Like Abraham, we can praise God in advance for every promise, even those not yet fulfilled!  With complete confidence, we know God is well able and He will perform what He promised!

PRAYER: Lord, we are completely confident in your ability to perform what you have promise.  Thank you in advance for the coming manifestation.  Amen!

Heb 10:35-38. . . .Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.  For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.  For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry.  Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.  KJV

BLOW UP -TURN UP!

9-15-2015. . . .BLOW UP -TURN UP!

"And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me." (2 Cor 12:9 KJV)   Our areas of deficiency are doorways of opportunity for God to manifest His power in us.  Never allow the enemy to enter into the doorway first; he will only magnify and amplify the deficiency, so that one will doubt and deny their potential.   God on the other hand, will magnify and amplify His power so that one's potential is achieved in spite of their deficiencies.

PRAYER: Lord, we glory in our weakness and turn it over to you to blow up and turn up your power in us, through us, and for us.  Do it God!  Amen.

Eph 3:20. . . . Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, KJV

HANG IN THERE!

9-10-2015. . . .HANG IN THERE!

"Do not let this happy trust in the Lord die away, no matter what happens. Remember your reward!  You need to keep on patiently doing God's will if you want him to do for you all that he has promised." (Heb 10:35-37 TLB)  We've come to far to give up, in, out, over and to turn around now!  No, it is not always easy, but it is worth the fight!  Hang in there, for the greater blessings and reward are in front of us!

PRAYER: Lord, sometimes it gets really really hard to keep trusting you.  Not because of You, (for you are faithful) but because of the insecurities within us.  We want to be in control!  (As if we know and can influence the outcome of our affairs)  Have mercy on us and give us your peace as we submit both willingly and unwillingly to your will.  Amen!

Heb 10:32-34. . . .Don't ever forget those wonderful days when you first learned about Christ. Remember how you kept right on with the Lord even though it meant terrible suffering.  Sometimes you were laughed at and beaten, and sometimes you watched and sympathized with others suffering the same things.  You suffered with those thrown into jail, and you were actually joyful when all you owned was taken from you, knowing that better things were awaiting you in heaven, things that would be yours forever. TLB

LOUD AND PROUD!

9-9-2015. . . .LOUD AND PROUD!

"Lord, I love your home, this shrine where the brilliant, dazzling splendor of your presence lives.  Don't treat me as a common sinner or murderer who plots against the innocent and demands bribes.  No, I am not like that, O Lord; I try to walk a straight and narrow path of doing what is right; therefore in mercy save me.  I publicly praise the Lord for keeping me from slipping and falling." (Ps 26:8-12 TLB)  Make no mistake about it; it is the Lord only that is able to keep us from falling.  If there is any boasting, our boast is in Him.  Our praise is loud and proud not because of us, but because of Him.

PRAYER: Lord, thank you for saving us and for keeping us.  To you belongs all the glory, honor and praise always.  Amen.

Jude 24. . . . And now-all glory to him who alone is God, who saves us through Jesus Christ our Lord; yes, splendor and majesty, all power and authority are his from the beginning; his they are and his they evermore shall be. And he is able to keep you from slipping and falling away, and to bring you, sinless and perfect, into his glorious presence with mighty shouts of everlasting joy. Amen. TLB

LISTEN AND HEED!

9-8-2015. . . .LISTEN AND HEED!

"Before I learned to answer you, I wandered all over the place, but now I'm in step with your Word.  You are good, and the source of good; train me in your goodness." ( Ps 119:67-68)  Haven't we had enough of following our own ways!  The lesson learned is always the same; we go astray and end up in trouble.  God has a better plan for us and will teach us His ways if we are willing to listen and heed His word.

PRAYER: Lord, your way is always the best way for us.  Help us to listen and heed your every word. Teach us your goodness!  Amen.

Ps 119:67. . . . Before I was afflicted I went astray: but now have I kept thy word. KJV
